2.5L w/ 4.88's ??

I was wondering if anyone out there has a 2.5L and is running 4.88's. I'm thinking about 4.88's and 33's, but I also daily drive. I think it should be OK according to the gear ratio calculators. Anyone running 33's with the 2.5L?

Thanks for your help!

I'm runnin 35's and people are tellin me to regear to 4.88's. So 4.88's with 33's should be allright with 2.5

I run that exact combo on my 92 YJ. "33 in tires 4.88 gears and a 2.5L". It is my daily driver as well, I have know problem on the highway. I can stay up with traffic for the most part in 5th and only need to down shift to 4th on those long step hills. At 70 mph it runs at about 2700 rpms.

On the trail I am able to crawl with most of the jeeps with the bigger engines with out a problem.
