2.5L Runs Fine Until...

My 95 Wrangler 2.5 runs fine until I plug in the O2 sensor. Then it bucks and kicks after a while. Unplug it and it runs fine on default. It's a new O2 sensor. It didn't have one hooked up when I got it. Thoughts?

O2

Replace the o2 sensor with the ignition off, do a battery reset. Computer has a adaptive memory and it may be the memory effecting your stored calibration.

What kind of O2 sensor? A lot of people have had problems with the Bosch O2 sensor which for some reason is about the only kind that must discount auto parts places want to carrier in-store. I have heard Denso has a good one.

It's a Borg Warner sensor...I've used them before with no problem. As for resetting the PCM, Just leave a battery cable off for 30 seconds right?
