Im supportin the 4banger all the way! It pushes my 33's on and off the road better than i could ever imagine. Plus it will go places that all my buddies 6cyl could only dream! The 4banger only whines because it wants more!

2.5 Liter-Count me In!

I'm down with my stock 98' 2.5 liter as well! Hell, only 65k miles on it now!

BlacK powder coated American Racing rims, K&N air filter, 31's Goodyear Baja All Terrains, treated undercarriage. Tuffie console/lock box, Pioneer 200 Watt stereo with soundbar, Interior Rhino lining (knock off brand), Tan Bestop-Softop with quick disconnects.

I'm still trying to get the hang of mudding and driving to the Island on the sand..... always overly cautious... lol Edinburg,Texas in the Rio Grande Valley!

Ive got a 2.5L !XJ! with a terrible tick and horrible blow by, the damned thing wont die, its been under water and is probably filled with mud instead of oil. I love it, I just got a 4.0 and I have to say i love my 2.5 when it comes to wheeling..

The 2.5 has out wheeled my friends 4.0 XJ and my other friends I6 Land Cruiser, I dont wanan put it down, but its almost time, im tearing its axles out and putting them in my 4.0L, I kinda wanna keep the engine because its never EVER let me down, no matter how slow and terrible the gas mileage is (because of the horrible shape of the engine) But it just wont die

rockin the 2.5L with 33s. Drags a bit on the highways/uphills (as expected)... considering a 4.0 swap once this one wears out. i'm at 130k miles now on a 95 YJ.

Flying low and slow with my 2.5 and 33's. I'm actually pretty happy with how well she does with the big tires.

Even w/ a rebuild and a 40 over bore the 91 still doesnt quite have the umphh of the 93 w/ 4.0, but I love her all the same. Pushin better than 280k miles and goin' strong. That squirrel picture is priceless, made it a wall paper

I got one here too. '88 2.5 AMC, rear ford 9in. with arb airlocker and 4.86 gearing,Disc brake conversion. front dana 30 with detroit truetrac and 4.88 gearing. 4 inches rubicon express lift, still running 31" AT due to a shortage of the Benjamins. Gas mileage stinks, very slow uphill on the freeway or with a headwind. but it;s sure is fun driving.

Rockin the 4 Banger... Thought about switching out to the 6, but the easy maintenance is enough for me to keep the 4
