2.5L Owners - how many in here?

How much "90 (or so) horsepower, 2.5 liter, 4 cylinder" lovin is going on in here?

hey, I got some 4.88s in mine and she will crawl with the best of 'em, like a little tractor; but I don't see 5th gear much on the highway...... lol

'90 YJ - 2.5L, Fabtech 3.5", MORE 5/8" shackles, 32" MT MTXs, 4.88 gears, JKS discos & track-bar, Posi-cable, Warn bumper & 9k winch.

2.5L powered here, although I'm researching swaps for the future

Standard 4.10s with 33s = no use of 5th gear, but its all good, 4th still stays under 3k RPM at highway speeds

i have a 2.5 but not for long. bought the jeep knowing it didnt run. tried to get it to but finally decided im gonna swap in a 4.3l.

I have it and love it. Sure it's underpowered, just makes driving fun, I can still do 75-80 on flat and even no problem....

2.5l here also. But it's not as bad as most people make it out to be....it still gets me from point A to B.

I'm here too! Lifters make alot of noise but she still pushes strong! Lots of down shifting and horrible gas mileage! Gotta love it!

I haven't seen one that does, at least the difference is not enough to make me want another, its maybe 1-2mpg at best, and the same or worse as soon as you add some weight or bigger tires, it gets overworked.
