2.5l to 4.0l swap underway.

I got a wrangler 4.0 wiringharness and computer from a 92 and a 94 engine from a xj, I hope these are compatable. I got a 5 speed tranny from a 98. I got the package deal for 1250.00. I hope the 94 engine is obd1, because it was the lowest mile one they had. My 2.5l wrangler should have the fuel pump in the tank so i should be good there. I will have to get the vss adapter gizmo from hesco, i am open to ideas if you guys have any. I hope that i have chosen corectly on the parts. What will i do on the t case? The 2.5 231 wont fit the ax15 , correct?? I need to make sure the ax 15 is out of the wrangler aplication, i'm pretty sure it is.

Ideas or opinions are welcome.

Steve

swap

Just did this last week except went to 4.2. Get a complete donor jeep and work from that or it will nickel and dime you to death. Don't forget to move the motor mounts.
