2.5 vs 4 inch RC Suspention Lift?

I've got a 1991 YJ 4cyl running on 31s.
I bought this last summer as a my first vehicle and now im looking to put a lift on it. Either, 2.5 or 4 inches.
I've gotta few questions though,

1) I bought my jeep with some what looks to be lift leaf springs, probably 2inches. If i were to replace this with the lift kit leaf springs, how much of a difference in a lift would it be?

2) If i were to go with the 4 inch lift, would I need to replace my tires with some bigger ones? (my 31s are pretty much brand spankin new so if i dont need to, i wont.)

3) I heard that even with the 2.5 inch lift, it lifts it about 4 inches when it's complete. is this true?

Aaaaand if anyone has any photos of a 2.5 or 4 inch suspension on 31s, it'd be appreciated if you could post em

Here are the kits i'm looking at:
2.5 inches: http://www.gemini-sales.com/product....8#!prettyPhoto

4 inches: http://www.gemini-sales.com/product....&product=13627

Thanks a lot!!

This is what my Jeep looks like at the moment (sorry, best photo i could find)

I would put bigger tires on with a 4" lift. 31s woul look really small.
Here is mine with a 4" RC lift and 33s.
It has settled down about an inch since it was installed a year ago.

I have not had any issues out of my RC lift. It rides smoother than my friends OME lift...
Maybe I got lucky cause I know there are alot of RC problems on here.....

X2 on the BDS.....

Running a 2" BDS lift with 2" body and 1.25 shackles and TJ flares with 33's. Rear has no rub issues but front will rub a bit on full flex.
