I own a 94 2.5 and a 93 4.0 was wondering if my aftermarket radiator in my 2.5 will fit my 4.0

I have a 1995 2.5 and got a 4.0 radiator with a bunch of parts I bought...

The 4.0 unit is thicker (more cores) for increased capacity.

edit: Meaning that it will physically fit but prolly won't cool it properly.

95 YJ 2.5L 5 speed, 4.88's, Aussie Locker D30, 35" Mud Rovers, Herculined tub, TKH rear bumper, Ford 8.8, JB Conv. SYE, Sylvania Silver Stars, T-MAX 9K winch, MORE 1" body lift, Turbo City oil pan skid, Rubicon Express 4" lift...

2012 KK Black all stock.

I drove through the hottest part of a Michigan summer without any trouble. It seemed to do as well as it did with the 2.5.

1994 Wrangler...4.0 AW4 swapped, sye'd, 5.5" lift and 33's

I went from a 2.5 to a 4.0 and have no problems. My radiator is a stock replacement aftermarket (meaning it wasn't anything special) that I put in about 10 years ago. At that time the place I bought it from said they only had one radiator listed for YJ's, motor size didn't matter and it had the auto tranny cooler too.

The Rad for the 2.5 and 4.0 are the same rad. I swapped in a 4.3 V6 and I'm still using the 2.5's rad with no issues and don't even need the fan unless I'm in traffic or on the trail.
