No problem. Just didn't want someone else to make the same mistake I did.

My Jeep build. :)

My son and I spent the day putting in the motor and surprisingly the 4.0 block is really close , almost identical to the 4.2. Had to do some customizing on one motor mount, coil mount , power steering bracket, etc. We fired her up and ran it a little just to get an idea of how much tweaking was going to be needed and this 4.7 is definitely a torque machine. I didn't do too much because its just open header exhaust right now but I think it's going to have plenty of power for us. I think tomorrow is probably going to be spent figuring out how to keep it happy with the little carter 2 bbl on it.

Had new pipe and a magnaflow put on , seems like a completely different jeep now. Plenty of power and hopefully a lot stronger drivetrain. The t177 and transfer case out of a J10 truck have to be stouter than the little ax5 setup I pulled out. Set timing to 8* and I'm running mid grade fuel with no ping so I'm happy with the motor . I got most of the lope hidden by tweaking the Carter and leaving idle around 700 rpm
I probably should address the speedo gear next as it reads around 100mph at what feels like 65mph.
