1993 seatbelt replacement?? has anyone done it?

I need to replace my seatbelts. The retraction mechanism is jacked up, so I need to replace it so I can actually drive. If anyone knows where I can get a new seatbelt at a fairly good price and how to install it I would be extremely grateful.

Morris 4x4 has sets for 150 I think. You'll need a torx set(which you should have for all of the other parts lol) and it's a simple as take out and put new ones in.

You can also check 4wd.com, quadretec, and jc Whitney. But I don't thunk you're going to find them for less then 60 a piece.

You should be able to flip the seat forward to get to it. I'm not sure though.

On my '88 there is one in the center for the button part. One on the pillar. One on the body for the reel(take that out first) and another on the floor where the bottom of the belt bolts in.

The seat doesn't flip/slide forward? That's real strange.
Take a yoga class and best of luck then. Lol. Or take the seat out.

the driver seat in newer models doesnt flip forward, but you could slide it as far forward as it goes, flip the pass. seat forward, get a long extension on the torx bit and go at it from there. OR you cound hang upside down from the roll bar like i used to on the monkey bars as a kid.

That's strange. My '88 and '89 flip forward. As well as my friends '94 so I just figured they all did.

I had no trouble sliding my seat forward to replace seatbelt. Trouble is the replacement I got from Q-Tec is real touchy locking up when I pull it out to fasten.
