1990 TF999 computer controlled?

I searched around and didn't find anything definitive. I have a 1990 YJ with an automatic.

Now that I have both an MC 2100 and a CRT HEI, and the associated electrical changes, is my computer controlling anything? The only thing I can imagine is my trans. I'd like to pull the computer and associated wiring harnesses to clean things up.

You can ditch the computer...

The trans is not controlled by any computer. There are 3 or 4 wires to it for the reverse lights and neutral safety switch.

Exactly as Burnerman said. There isnt anything electrical on that trans except neutral safety and reverse lights. Delete wiring/controller as you see fit.
