1989 Front Locker?

So i was driving up a canyon yesterday. I say a hill that looked fun to climb to my left so I stopped and put it in four wheel drive. Well it was in four wheel low and I turned my wheel all the way to the left. I started to drive forward and it felt like the jeep hesitated and then the front wheel kind of barely peeled out. It kept doing this while I was turning. Just hesitating and then grabbing. Does this mean that I have a locker in the front or is my jeep just being a jeep..... thanks for all the help in advance.

Every time a bird craps on my jeep, I sit on my front porch and eat scrambled eggs to show them what i'm capable of!

Your tires could be rubbing somewhere when you turn it all the way. Do you have a locked rear?

I know it does not rub at all and I don't have a rear locker. Or not that I know of. Only one wheel spins when I climb gravel stuff in two wheel.

I've never had this problem. It could be the slack in the T-Case from where you put it in 4WD.
