1988 jeep yj switch over

i have a 1988 jeep yj pretty much stock, i am looking at a 1984 cj7 that has a 4 inch suspension lift and 33 inch tires and hardtop and all that kind of stuff. would the cj7 parts work with my 1988 jeep yj if i wanted to put them together?
Thanks

Nope. Not a desirable hybrid.

would putting my motor from my 88 into it be worth it or are the cj7s very good? the cj7 is in better shape then my 88 as of the body/rust but it does not run.

if the cj is in better shape, body and rust wise, i would swap the motor over. its the same motor so it should be easy if you have the 6 cylinder in both of them.

otherwise, the rear springs will change, the hardtop and doors, and the tires can be mounted on your yj rims. cj and yj have different bolt patterns on the rims and cjs have thinner front springs then yjs do.
