1987 jeep yj rear disc brakes rear proportioning valve?

Just finished putting disc brakes on the rear of my 1987 jeep yj .Do I have to add proportioning valve to the rear brakes.Or just use the stock one up front.Right now its not stopping my 35's like i think they should. If I have to what will that do for me. Thanks Russ

Not familiar with the jeep master cylinder yet, but in street rods an adjustable proportioning valve is usually a necessity and seems like the master cylinder is different (larger bore) on an all disc set up. The adjustable valve allows you to fine tune your stopping. Best way to determine if its right is to test it on a gravel road. see if it stops straight. The proportioning valve actually lowers the pressure to front I think but I may be backwards on that, its been a few years since I have installed one.
