1974 CJ 5 Transmission

So my son has a 1974 CJ5 that we are changing the fluids on. I know this is the wrong place but how many quarts in a T-18 4 speed????????

Got to ask in the cj section.

I have a 76 cj5 and don't know the answer,

I don't feel like working on anything at this time so i sold my yj.

Are people too lazy to post in the right section?

Not sure the exact amount, but you can just fill it up to the fill hole. 4 qts should be enough and if you don't use one or two then you can keep them or go take them back.

Thank you jokerchief462! thats what I was thinking. He put in 3 quarts and still filling. The Chilton has no capacities table. My Wrangler holds 2.5 so I was just wondering.
