10" drum brake strut bar Help

I'm looking for a 10" drum brake strut bar for the "left" side. I found a right side, Im guessing that the left and right side are the same shape? Here's the right side: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rear-Drum-Br...ht_1219wt_1010

That is a common maintenance part. Try your local NAPA

Yeah . That's available at Napa. I think they have a right and left if its not flat.

Nope. Don't remember. But I want to say there is an offset so they're not interchangeable. But if I remember correctly the kit contained both? Don't fully recall. If it was two bags of parts or one? Can't remember.

When you go to NAPA if they ask you which side though you should tell them the correct side you need.

I rebuilt the rear brakes on a '91 in August 2013 and on my '89 in March of 2014.

I bent my right one into a U shape when it came loose driving down the road at 35mph. That was a loud bang and a very violent jolt. I grabbed the left one out of an XJ and it worked no problem.

The left and right are not the same shape though, they are not flat. I have put 10k miles and 2 years on it and have not had any issue even though it is upside down.

I had the brakes rebuilt on mine but in order to get the park brake to work i need that darn left side. I will go by Napa and see what they got. I haven't actually walked in the store, just went online.

Lee auto parts had them on the shelf about a month ago when i did mine. They come with the master or full hardware set.
