1.5" springs rear 2" springs front

okay so my jeep has a 4 inch lift on it now as it sits but the the front sits a little lower than the rear and when i do the soa i will be changing the rear axle which will be bigger than my 35 which means it will be even higher in the rear so i would like to make it level i will be buying new springs and this may be way out there but if i bought 1.5" springs for the rear and 2" springs for the front would that work i m already planning on running 1.5" springs i was just wondering if that would help or if i could use a different shackle in the front or what would make it level and if nothing will i m perfectly fine with it being angled i just figure if i have everything tore apart and its a easy fix why not

I've made shackles for several guys around here and online that wanted to level their Jeep out.
I see no issue with using 2 different sized springs though - but are you also swapping out the rear axle with something else? Because that will also change the ride height. I am not 100% certain, but I think that an 8.8 causes SUA folks to ride about 3/4" lower in the rear after the swap. Not sure how it would affect SOA though.

I talked to Brandon the other day about this. It is 3/4" of an inch axle tube difference between an 8.8 and a D35.

But you don't want to use 3/4" shackles to compensate. You want less than that, or 3/8" to be more specific. So if you are sticking with SUA, the rear would be about 3/8" sagging in the rear using stock shackles. To compensate for this, a lot of people will run stock shackles up front and 3/8" boomerangs in the rear.

If going SOA, its the opposite. You'd be 3/8" taller in the rear, so to compensate you could use 3/8" shackles up front and standard length in the rear.

Some people will grind down the spring perches to make up for the difference. Choose which ever one you prefer, but the shackle option is much easier IMO.

And to the OP, I just recently bought a set of custom made shackles off Brandon for the front. I wish I had him make me ones for the rear too but I had already bought a set from M.O.R.E. Why you ask? His are $20 bucks including shipping. MORE's are $100 plus shipping.
