Im just excited, Ive been waiting for this thing scince the orginal concept back in 2005? I just hope there is alittle more cab room than the JT appeared to have
It would need to be a 4-person truck though, I have kids and I need to be able to move them all in all cars. I have a Tacoma now and I'd trade it in a heartbeat for a Gladiator if it had the same room as my Access cab... ray:
I Email'd Jeep about the Gladiator and received this response.
Thank you for your email regarding the Jeep Gladiator concept vehicle.
Please accept my apologies regarding the delayed response. Due to the
increased interest in the Chrysler Group LLC products, I was not able to
reply to your email as quickly as I would have liked.
Jeep greatly appreciate your interest in the Jeep Gladiator concept. At
the present time, Chrysler Group LLC has not disclosed any official
plans to offer the Jeep Gladiator to its future lineup of vehicles.
Though the decision has been made to forego production of the Jeep
Gladiator concept vehicle, it does not mean that the Jeep Gladiator will
not be considered for production at a future date. With constantly
shifting market trends I would hesitate to discount the possibility of
new products on the horizon specifically designed to suit your needs.

Thank you for your interest in Jeep, Craig. Have a great day!
Found this on Mike's Free Jeep News now this morning:
"I've received a couple of unconfirmed reports this morning that a Wrangler-based 1-ton pickup has been confirmed at a "Dealers Principles" meeting. The vehicle is said to come with a turbo diesel engine and go on sale during calendar year 2011.
If anyone can add to this, please do so in the comments below."
Jeep If you can't figure out we want this Truck you need to fire your entire market research staff and buy a laptop. Hang out at a coffee shop and surf the dozens and dozens of forums where loyal Jeepers have been pining for a truck for years!...I got that same letter in 2005 just after the Gladiator concept came out. WOW 6 years from concept to production...slow down Jeep we don't want you to get ahead of yourself!

If that really happens, expect to pay an additional Dealer Mark-Up to get one, because they won't be able to keep them on the sale-lots.
Oh... and I WILL own one!
I intend to live forever. So far, so good.

Yuck, unless it's the nukiser I have no interest in ever owning one, even if i was given a gladiator Id sell it to fix up an old j20 or something more appealing, I'm not mch of a fan for the jk, and the gladiator is even uglier in my opinion
So what if my Yj is 5 years older then I am?
