Is it true the Liberty is being discontinued?

I was hoping to see a Pentastar based Liberty next year that could tow 6K but from what I've been hearing, there isn't going to even be a Liberty soon. Whats the word on that?

The Liberty as it stands right now is going to be replaced by one based on a Fiat-derived D platform.

That's supposed to be for MY2012 or 2013. That version will probably have the Pentastar, but the current one probably won't.

hmmm my jeep's better than a liberty hmmm maybe, but actually i've driven both, just because u don't like someone saying they don't like junk with a name on it doesn't mean u need to insinuate i'm some kind of ******* hick.all I know is i've taken both my grand's and a liberty out four-wheeling,now maybe a liberty's sense of off-roading is getting through the mall parking lot,but my grand cherokee goes regularly through places the liberty wouldn't even go despite having better tires, and also my grand cherokee's have never came out broken down and self-destructing the wheel bearings and cv shafts, but anyways, everybody has an opinion i was stating i didn't think a fiat design would greatly improve a glorified grocery-getter anymore, but as they say everyone has an opinion just like everyone has an a-hole,some people just seem to have their head stuffed up it too long.

I called you a hick? Or are you saying that I was thinking it? You must have ESP!

Perhaps, you're no good at wheeling? Correct me if I am wrong: a stock non-Rubi Wrangler and Liberty preform rather similar on the trails.

Everyone has an opinion, huh? Yet, you blast me for having one, hypocrite much?

I agree with your last statement though, it describes you well.

It's funny how many people complain how stuck-up other car/truck brand members are, but Jeep has just as many. Sometimes even worse...
