subs

ok I had to drive my sisters Cherokee...long story short I looked at how the cherokees have that rear sound bar type piece for some larger speakers that are out of the way. I thought wouldn't it be a good idea to mount some small subs , think 8 or 10, in similar fashion to a wrangler hard top. that way they would be protected by the hard top at all times and when you go topless they would stay safe in your garage. it seems like a good idea has anyone else ever thought of or tried this?
