Some guys sketches

http://simondrewacar.blogspot.com/

this guy has done some sketches, the front 3/4 one on the top left of the screen took my eye. Pretty nice change from the hard edged approach?

But the actual IDEA is solid. This looks to have both Hurricane and Meyers Manx influence, which is a good thing. Make that a removeable panel truck style rear roof, separate targa front, with V-8 power and manual tranny and you'll have my attention.

And you suck at pop cultural references and spelling yourself. 'Drawlings' is an intentional misspelling in reference to the old Saturday Night Live skits with Mike Meyers sitting in a bathtub singing, "well you know my name is Simon, and I like to do drawerings." Technically, I would have spelled it 'drawerings,' but whatever. Accidental misspellings of intentional misspellings don't bother me, but Grammar Nazi failings do. Oh, and if you're going to play the role of Colonel Hans Landa, you should check your own work. It should be, "let's see you drawl" or "let's see your drawlings."

By the way, I agree. Mike Meyers in a bathtub could have done better than this.

yeah I got mixed feelings on that.... I have a disturbing feeling that its meant to be hybrid/electric and I want NO part of something like that. The whole look is WAY too organic. I like a truck/car to look like its made of metal and brawn. That roof-mounted spare is acceptable on the SUV version but looks ghastly on the SUT. AND...where's the damn removeable top?!?!!

I've always been a fan of the "bug eyes" and the YJ square headlights. I think Jeep should go back to using them for their models besides the GC. In my opinion, the Commander and KK headlights looked horrid.

All other BS aside, I've never understood how having standards, or expecting people to communicate at a basic elementary level - has anything to do with a mid-century European nationalist socialist political movement. And, if being a 'nazi' means I do have standards of conduct, is it a bad thing ? What political group do you align gross apathy with ?

Did you just end a sentence with a preposition?

Dude, why would you expect someone to have standards when you're not living up to them yourself? Also, 'grammar nazi' isn't a new term. Speaking of skits, if you've seen Inglorious Bastards, search for 'college humor grammar nazi.' It's pretty funny.

Anyway, none of this really matters. We should strive to crawl over rocks; not live under them. Let's leave the grammar beratings to the elementary teachers. I still have nightmares from mine. Unfortunately, I think I'm going to have worse nightmares now after seeing that 'dead frog' Jeep model.
