Power Soft top?

Ok whether or not it would be a good idea i'm not sure yet, but i know i've had the though a few times myself..

Think jeep will ever make a Powered soft top configuration so we can just push a button and the thing will go up and down on its own??

and would you want it?

I doubt it, because there's nowhere to put the mechanism, and no, because unnecessary devices FTL.

Convertible Jeep Tops by Dennis Barker

See how it is terribly bunched up in the back when the top is down? That would be the design hurdle for this I believe... getting a large, square top to lay smoothly in the small area of the rear tub.

Plus that aftermarket one is $3k ha. No thanks.

An interesting thought none-the-less.
