New name for Phoenix ingine

Pentastar is the new name for Chrysler's Phoenix V6 engine.

Some one other than Chrysler owens the name phoenix, at this time ,this new v6 with DI Pentastar engine ,is now schedule to go into the jeep wrangler around Oct 2011 for model year 2012 .The one American plant building it ,is trying to getting up to full production of around 400,000 engines a year , the second US plant was cancel by Mr I A Rattor,(sic) the head of the presidents auto panel , but a third plant in Saltillo Mexico will ramp up for the 2012 model year, also a v8 Pentastar is said to schedule for the future.ref: allpar.com/forum

It seems to be a terrific engine. The new Pentastar V6 is said to have 11% better fuel economy.
