Um, no it's not... not at all close.

They are not going to make the RESCUE. Despite how much we'd like them too...

They need for us to pre-order 100,000 of them.

Isn't a rescue just the prototype/show car for the JK? You can mod a JK to look pretty much like the Rescue, although the size may be off. I agree with more power though I wonder if they'll come out with an uber JK with a Hemi engine, 35+ tires and new bumpers and gear.

I'd like to see DC build this off of the Ram Power Wagon... sort of like a modern Ramcharger but with a seven-slot grille and Cummins diesel power.

I think it was a mistake to make the Commander the same wheel base and such as the GC. Not that it should be a Tahoe, but something with a bit more wheelbase, maybe some storage behind the third row. Something like the big Land Rover.

I'd have to agree w/ exc911ence as the fact that it is close... not completely in looks, but in function.

The Rescue looks and is completely awesome, but I have this odd feeling that if the JK wasn't in production, then the Rescue would have had more of a chance in being in production. It's pointless to have two vehicles that would look fairly identical (of course not to us since we drive jeeps) to the average person....

Don't get me wrong though, I kinda wish they did the rescue instead of the JK.

We all know that the Rescue is not going into production because it looks like a JK. What they should do is offer the the JK with the "Rescue" package. A top of the line Rubicon model.
