I've seen this before. They are not much different that just purchasing a top from www.gr8tops.com. I would rather just purchase a gr8top and do it myself.

Doing this with an LJ would be great and would be the closest thing I've seen to the scrambler if you could find the scrambler half hard top and bulkhead.

You don't need to find a Scrambler top and bulkhead. Just go to gr8tops and pick up new ones.

And something looks different on this one. I think they extended the box and moved the fuel filler cap.

I think they have weld-in bulkheads though. If there was a removable bulkhead with that top and a way you could re-install the rest of the roll cage without welding(of course you could set that up with a little fab), then you could have something as close as possible to what the scrambler was...those jeeps are great, but are permanently that way, I think.

I agree a removable bulkhead would be nice. I didn't realize thats how the Scramblers were.

I'm trying to decide whether I want to go with a cj7 or a cj8 right now cause I got the jeep itch again. I'm 23 and it would be my third jeep. Maybe I should get both?!
