Jeep Pickup

A few years back I saw somewhere that jeep was designing a new pickup. Just curious if this is still in the works or not. You guys all seem to be in the loop when it comes to jeep and upcoming designs. Glad I joined here lots of good info and people willing give info if they can. Its a nice change from some of the fishing message boards I'm a member of.

Man that thing looks bad ***. Im a pickup guy through and through but I love my jeep. Me thinks this will be my truck down the road. I can already see one problem though. That extended cab is pretty small.

All I know is... Wife is holding off on replacing her '01 in anticipation of the Gladiator being built. And, if the Glad ever becomes a reality (I know, hopeful thinking), then we very well could end up with two of them, I need to replace my old Ford P/U. The 06 Libby will never leave our family though!

Yeah if the gladiator doesn't happen I'm definitely going to look into making a wrangler into a Brute

I'm thinking they won't build the Gladiator, but the JT is a good possibility because of how similar it is to the J8 (which is already in production?)
I too am waiting for a Jeep pickup am am really hoping for the JT to be released in the 2010 lineup.

The J8 Sarge

I was involved with the northwood auto show. I was on team International with there new Lonestar....bad***. But the jeep pickups you saw were the new concept gladiator and then there was a TJ i believe with the brute package added on.

The "NEW" Gladiator concept? Is this different than the old Gladiator concept? If so then I would say Jeep is really considering this.

No...sorry for the miss-understanding. It was the same Gladiator that Jeep has been using from show to show

so I've been drooling over Brutes, JTs, J8s, etc. for months...
I've even wondered how to slap a YJ nose on a Comanche...
Hummer has been advertising their new truck...but I wouldn't dare betray the spirit of my long lost CJ...
the only thing on my mind now is the news story I heard today about GM trying to buy Chrysler, but they can't get the loans to do so...
if they were to buy out the company they freely admit they expect to close most of the line down...
