Jeep looks to shift production to China

http://washingtonexaminer.com/jeep-a...3#.UInfx4bAHyK

Well it appears that the taxpayer bailed-out Chrysler is looking back and now considering cutting costs by shifting production of all Jeeps to China, which has a strong desire for Jeeps.

I've literally posted this five times now, and I'm going to post it again.

If anybody else here would take five minutes and read about how the Chinese auto market works, knees would not be jerking.

JEEP IS NOT MOVING PRODUCTION TO CHINA. THEY ARE CONSIDERING ADDING PRODUCTION IN CHINA, TO PRODUCE JEEPS FOR THE CHINESE AND SOUTH-EAST ASIAN MARKETS. IT WILL BE LARGELY THE SAME AGREEMENT THAT JEEP HAD PREVIOUSLY ESTABLISHED WITH BEIJING JEEP YEARS AGO, AND THAT VIRTUALLY EVERY OTHER AUTOMAKER HAS HAD FOR SEVERAL YEARS NOW.

ANY JEEPS BUILT IN CHINA WILL ONLY BE SOLD IN CHINA AND IMMEDIATELY ADJACENT MARKETS. THEY WILL NOT BE SOLD IN NORTH AMERICA OR EUROPE. CHINESE AUTO EXPORT TARRIFS AND LOCAL CONSUMER PERCEPTION PREVENT THE PROFITABLE SALE OF CHINESE VEHICLES IN THOSE MARKETS. ANY JEEP THAT A NORTH AMERICAN CONSUMER WILL BUY IN THE NEAR FUTURE WILL HAVE BEEN ASSEMBLED IN THE AMERICAS OR EUROPE. WRANGLERS FOR NORTH AMERICAN CONSUMPTION WILL BE EXCLUSIVELY SOURCED FROM TOLEDO.

Please, people, do five minutes of research on this subject.

Locked for it being a quintuplicate.
