Jeep Hurricane

http://www.jeep.com/en/autoshow/conc...les/hurricane/

I was looking in my news paper today and read about this, so as soon as I got on a computer my first search was for this.

I think it's one of the coolest Jeeps yet. Two engines with hemi's and up to 12 cylinders at once. On top of that it can go 0-50 in under 5 seconds, talk about having enough power to get you through tough terrain.

Sorry if it's been posted but I didn't see anything if it was posted before.

You can view all 4 of thier concept vehicles through that link. I like the Trailhawk. The Gladiator is a long needed design. The fuel economy on the Renegade is fantastic. I think the Hurricane is probably the least useful of the 4.

Are we in space yet? I really don't like all the new stuff coming out..I mean it's interesting an all but with no character IMO. I would love to see Jeep bring back the TJ, etc, and still keep producing the new stuff. my2c.

i think it looks like the warthog from halo, but i think the carbon fiber is a bit much,(then again no carbon fiber should be found on a jeep.)

I saw the Hurricane and Gladiator concepts a few years back. Gladiator looks pretty cool...

The Gladiator is nice but, and i have seen the Hurricane several years back, nice but nothing really economical, Hummer stole the idea as well with the Hummer HX. But i like the Jeep Brute, by American Expedition Vehicles, better than that Gladiator, a little more BA i think. http://www.aev-conversions.com/products/brute/

I agree with you here, My dad had one of the new Cherokee's and hated it, and i have driven in them and am not a huge fan. I just wish they would bring back the XJ and older Wranglers, a little more off-road compatibility rather than this "Trail Rated" junk, although i could be wrong.

It was reported last year that Chinese made a clone of Hurricane. When you saw it, it really looks the same with Jeep; but of course the longevity of the original is far better than the copied one.
