Also Sahara and Rubicon can now be ordered with leather-faced trim, and Metallic green, orange pearl, detantor yellow were replaced by surf blue pearl, dark charcoal pearl, and natural green pearl. And the Pentastar puts out 280 horse, where as the current V6 puts out only 202!! So thats a good jump.

That's true. I heard that there will be no changes other than the color.

Hope they can come up with an electric wrangler.

We'll have one by 2013. 200C EV, Patriot EV, Wrangler EV, Town and Country EV and Circuit EV are all due to be available by 2013. Town and Country EV is supposed to be the first, available later this year (Already shipping to the US Postal Service)

Looking forward to Pentastar V6 worth the wait.

I am planning on waiting to buy the 2011 pentastar wrangler myself. With 280 hp and better gas mileage I will not have to install a hemi. I can wait also since I am living in Colombia and wont be back till at least 2011. I am going to buy a White wrangler and then take it to Aev to have it transformed into my dream wrangler. It will be my first one and I have always wanted one. I have had suvs, grand cherokee, 4 runner, ranger rover sport, but always went with the 4 door luxury cuz of my job. Well now I am getting the 2dr. Will have Aev 3 inch lift and 35 inch tires. Until then I am enjoying my hot young gf in Colombia, traveling and enjoying life.. Rode around in an old wrangler in the Caribean last week and helped keep my dream on track.

The pentastar v6 seems like a win-win. More power, more torque, and better fuel economy. As long as it will be coupled to a good (more than 4 gear) automatic trans I will be first in line.

Pentastar vs. 3.8 is like Day vs. Night. We're talking 280 hp with a 5 speed auto tranny. 260 lb-ft.

Look for major changes in the wrangler in Y10 and again in Y11 per 5 year plan, with special wranglers for Jeeps 70th birthday in Y11, also new wrangler diesel Q4 Y10, some say Fiat 2.5 or 3.0 ? also new wrangler adventure colours coming ,
Jeeps are going back to its hard core roots, for some models , happy-days are here again ! CAB.

The pentastar would be a GREAT base engine. But until a Hemi becomes available, I wont be buying one. A diesel would be awesome and would at least get me in for a test drive. But V-6 engines are ok for midsize sedans, minivans and soccer mom SUVs. Theres just nothing badass about a V-6.
