Jeep Better Listen Up...

you're going to far with the Grand Cherokee's....you had it nice for the WJ...and NAILED it on the WK design....Looks more like a Kia now.

i'll still buy that 2012 srt8 tho.

Yeah, one guy on a forum who calls out the least-liked Grand Cherokee as the best has a ton of clout. I'm sure Mike Manley will be calling you any minute now for your insight.

I thought this was the "Future Models and Prototype" board, not the "Flame New Models with an Ungrounded Argument" (then ultimately agree to buy one a sentence later). This thread is pointless, Mods could you please lock this.

I kind of like the new Jeep Grand. Once my classic ZJ is too old or no longer worth maintaining I may consider getting a nice used WK2 for a replacement vehicle

Not true at all, I love the new jeep. It resembles other cars a little more but it's clear they were going for more fuel efficiency too and take a minute to look at all the features. It is sick and I must say I love the whole design. But I am a fan of pretty much everything jeep

The only thing I don't like about the wk2 is the taillights extend onto the lift gate. That does make them look like a Kia. Other than that they look really slick.

Constantly emptying every pocket

I dont like the 4wheel indy suspension setup on the offroad models AT ALL. But the SRT-8 is the best its ever been.

Actually, the new SRT-8 is heavier and slower then the previous model eventhough it has more HP and for me at least the older model looks better. I don't understand why Jeep couldn't lighten up the new one, add some carbon fiber or fiberglass and/or aluminum in certain areas.

Then again , after reading an article from Car & Driver based on the rumors about the new Liberities, you can see where the company will eventually end up again if any of it is true. :[

Jeep should only make 4x4,s like the wrangler ,cherokee& the grand Cherokee in diesel v6 ,v8,s and petrol like they do in Australia and they will sale more like have taken the market by storm in oz less is more ? Then they can have the three models in all of them from wrangler to the big grand Cherokee

Too add what I said earlier I just received an advertisement, which I will scan if anyone is up for a good laugh. You see a picture of JK cruis'n and it says, " Wrangler Unlimited Uncompromising capability. Feel the uninhibited rush of freedom that comes with legendary style and dominating 4X4 capability, all operated from you civilized comfort zone."

Then below the Jeeps it says,
Body-color hardtop optional / [B]Soft-touch interior/Real Chrome Details / Redesigned steering wheel.

I mean can you put the word Jeep and "soft touch interior" in the same sentence? LOL The Compass says under it soft touch surfaces too.

Its funny because the Liberty and GC had a more accurate description and the word soft wasn't under their names LOL.

I suppose next year's models will all have a place where you can keep your makeup and tissues.
