Yeah, if Cummins would design a smaller cubic inch engine (lighter, less umph) and didn't jack up the base price 6k for it.

If they could scale down there engine to a light weight 3.0-3.5L 6 cylinder they would have it made.

6.7L/2 = 3.35L I-6, six cylinders so it will make power but a small CID to keep the power within reason . . .

Cummins has been working on 4.2 V6 and 5.0 V8 light duty diesel engines. Whether Chrysler ever buys them and uses them is still unknown.
1st one- 1989 Cherokee Laredo. 12 great years
2nd one- 2001 Cherokee Limited. Got it before they were gone.
