So who wants a fiat? Seriously, I do.

It seems that Fiat has been handed a 35% share of Chrysler Motor co. in exchange to the rights for their smaller platform cars. Many Jeepers might not care, but this is a good move on Chryslers part. It gets them into the small platform market, with a proven, efficient, dependable brand.

Will it save the company? Who knows. If Billions of gov't dollars don't save them, then Fiat certainly won't. However, it's a move in the right direction.

I love my Jeep, but i also require a small, efficient car for commuting. Kinda like me, the TJ drinks to much. I would rather buy a brand that is proven to be a reliable small platform manufacturer, than to take another company's word (like the Ford Fiesta), that their new design is reliable.

Aside; However, if Jeep is taken over buy Nissan, i wouldn't mind either, since Nissan N.Amer. is located in my town, and an assembly plant is right down the road.
