I have read several separate bloggers who have said it does not photograph well but looks much better in person. (Jalopnik actually started a thread about cars that look better in person than on paper, leading of with the Cherokee)

Has anyone here actually seen it?

When I first saw the pictures I hated it, but seeing it in person makes it an lot better, but the only one I would consider would be the trailhawk.

As I mentioned before Fiat/ Chrysler has too many new things going at once with this vehicle and top of that everything is overly complicated. For example, start with the body, then transmission and then the engine. Look what happened in the 80's when Lee Iaccoca rushed the new electronically controlled ultra drive system with out fully testing it. You would thing they would learn from their past. Oh well. I am glad I got my Lib when I did.

When you get knee-deep in a situation, floor it.

They may deserve praise but why did all the internal testing not catch these problems? It wasn't until the press got hold of the KL and started driving them like you expect people to drive it that the transmission shifting software issues became apparent.

That's why they should've named it something other than Cherokee. Jeep is introducing a whole new generation to the hassle of getting the idiots at the parts store to type in the correct vehicle.

Best thing I've ever done is trade in my 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee - The new 2014 - what a great Jeep.

Are you trolling or do you not know the difference between WK2 and KL, or GRAND Cherokee and just Cherokee?
