Thats pretty cool! But then I have an untreatable case of AMC obsession.
Seems like I saw something like this on a used car lot in TN where I grew up. It was gremlin based, had the same wheelbase as the Gremlin but more rear overhang than the red prototype. Mustve been a custom one-off job.
I don't think it's ugly and i know it says jeep on it but that is not a jeep in my opinion.....

Jeep was AMC's truck line, so even though this is a halfbreed, they mustve been a bit undecided as to where to place the car.
Speaking of, Ive always wondered what an AMC/Jeep fullsize van mightve been like. Ive imagined something like a Dodge tradesman, but with a Cherokee/J-10 like grille, full on 4x4 with a balls-out '70s cruisin' van treatment: Shag carpet, bubble windows in the quarters, a huge sunroof in the center, and of course some *****in' mural. Maybe a robot viking slaying a giant dragon or something.
