For all 80's kids and GenXers still clinging to our childhood:

Its not a future model or prototype, but Im not sure where else to post it. Saw this on a Transformers website while checking out news on the 3rd movie : Name of Mysterious Transformers 3 Red Jeep Confirmed! Transformers

Hell yeah!!! I was hoping to see a Jeep show up as a transformer and it looks like its gonna happen. From the looks of things, this guy is gonna be a major *** kicker too!

The Jeep "Rollbar" will not be in the film it was a fan who built the thing hoping to get a slot in the film.

yeah, such a bummer that this didnt make it in the film. True, it was a little overdone for my tastes but a big tired badass of a Jeep would be awesome to see in one of these films...

It was so obnoxiously overdone to the point that it became awesome.

I think the alleged owner of that Jeep was actually on the forums at one point, chris something I think, but people flamed him so badly that I haven't seen him lately.

That aint gonna happen. That film was supported by GM thats why all the good cars are GM products and the evil cars are made by other brands

Yup, that series is a high-tech infomercial for GM.

Well this time around, there are other makes involved. And besides, there WAS a Saleen mustang as one of the bad guys in the first one. Personally, Id like this jeep even better as one of the bad guys...

isnt that what I said? all the evil cars were made by other brands. Look at the cars in the second one were there any good cars that were not GM products? Well other then Optimus Prime but he is a mid 80s peterbuilt they made the truck so generic to not have to pay royalties you cant even tell what year it is anymore.

Jeep thing huh?

Funny I didn't catch the bias in the first one. Guess the shameless plugs didn't work for me. I was just enjoying the movie.

Rollbar is bad for sure. Not sure what the stinger thing is in the back ... maybe it holds a spoiler when he really wants to go fast??
