2014 Grand Wagoneer

2014 Grand Wagoneer - 7 seater aimed at Mercedes GL, Escalade, and other luxury SUV's. (full article here)

excerpt: For its 2014 model year, Jeep will move upmarket with the release of its largest and most expensive Jeep, the Grand Wagoneer, which will compete with the Cadillac Escalade, Mercedes-Benz GL and other luxury SUVs. The seven-passenger vehicle will share a platform with the Grand Cherokee. But it will be different from Jeep's previous seven-seater, the Commander, as the Grand Wagoneer’s wheelbase and rear overhang will be stretched to make the Grand Wagoneer's second- and third-row seating more comfortable.

Given the now iconic status of the original, I'm betting we will see this remake. Just hold the faux woodgrain in 2014...

oo what a wonderful idea chrysler build something with less ground clearance, more gas sucking when were heading towards $4-5 a gallon gas prices,so we can try to get 80,000 more sales maybe

Except that the Durango is only available with all wheel drive while the Grand Wagoneer would likely have the 4 wheel drive systems from the Grand Cherokee. So not a complete bamboozle.

Ya well by the time the "brand new" waggy hits dealer lots its super structure and power train is already 3-4yrs old Tho that will give'm enough time to work out any defects and/or bugs

Still just a badge engineered rig with a power train swap

Next should a Honcho shortbed stepside, Full sized Jeep Sporty truck accompanied by the Wrangler based sporty truck

Fiat love's tradition and heritage, So if Jeep DOSE enter the F/S market with a Wagoneer its only a matter of time before the taste and demand for Jeep pickups will rise . . .

So if Chrysler Jeep wants to stay truck free they better squash the Waggy ASAP and stay out of the Full size market PEROID ! ! !

Other wise they will eventually have a TRUCK again, Just watch

Only Chrysler realized this got them into the problem they were/are in... I realize this is a shortcut/cheap way to approach this. But I don't think Sergio will be interested in taking the same present and wrapping it in different paper. Wagoneer does have heritage and tradition, he knows this, more processes will most likely go into the Wagoneer.

Well it just seems how uncanny well the NEW G/C grill fits over/onto the NEW Durango grill.
I'm hopping they do more to it, It just seems like an easy "New Vehicle" to me

I myself don't do SUV's I like 2dr performance cars and 2dr trucks, The wifey hates her CryCo Mini-van and wants to go back to a V8 Wagoneer like she used to have.

Its under going a full resto, currently I got a bunch of photos that don't really paint it in a good light.
This spring I'll roll it out and take some complete car photos for ya n PM them to you.
Other its just shots of sections of the car hard to see the whole vehicle.

69' AMX:
AMC-390 8bbl, Super T-10 4spd, AMC-20 with 4.44 locked, G60-14s front N50-15s rear mounted on Torque Thrust wheels.

Once we get few good spring rains I'll roll it outside and snap a bunch of shots for you.

Basically, I got tons of photos of all the defects and so on and the repair work that has started on said blemishes I got the photographic Resto on the 2 AMC forums.

I want ed to get some good whole car shots but before I knew it winter was here and it was time ta put it away for the winter

If ya don"t hear from me by the late April/ Early May PM me !
