2013 jku?

Any speculation as to what might be different for the 2013 JKU's? I'm not sold on the 2012's yet. It's just stupid things that I'm hung up on and the money of course. I'm long over due for a new vehicle, but most likely will keep wrenching on my '95 XJ until next fall. If it holds out that long. Then it will become my back up vehicle.

With a replacement coming in 2014 or 2015 I doubt there will be any changes between the 2012 and 2013 models. They might drop some features in the penny pinching they always seem to do when models are nearing the end of production.

End of production? They just started making the Unlimited. What sort or changes have you heard for 2014-2015?

They're not going to be changing anything for 2013. They redid the interior for 2011 and the drivetrain for 2012, the new model is due 2014/2015 and the factory is running at 100% trying to meet demand.

Sorry for my poor wording. Not getting rid of the Unlimited. Just ending the JK designated design and coming out with a new one. Like CJ to YJ to TJ to JK.

Chrysler has a bad habit of removing content when a vehicle gets to be a few years old or when it is about to be replaced. This doesn't seem to happen on the Wrangler as much as it does on other vehicles.

I just wouldn't look for anything to be added to the JK or JKU from here on out. With them selling so well and a new version due in a few years there is no need to tweak them to generate sales.

I can't imagine not liking the 2012 if you do like the JKU to begin with? It's so much better, especially with the Pentastar.
