2011 wrangler is susposed to have alot of new changes?

Just heard about this today so that shows how up to date I am on jeeps! Anyway you guys have anything to share about this like pics or what exactly is happening?

After a dig on google this is what I found about it, no pics that I could see yet!

"The 2011 Jeep Wrangler will likely feature a 3.6L Penstastar V6 Engine with variable valve timing, which will give it more power and torque, while getting better mileage at the same time. The '11 Wrangler will also get a more aerodynamic exterior design for, again, better fuel economy. Its Quadra lift will give it best in class ground clearance. The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is offered in three trim levels: base X, mid-line Sahara, and off-road oriented Rubicon. Standard features will include stain-resistant cloth upholstery; air conditioning; power windows, locks and mirrors; remote keyless entry; cruise control; an Infinity sound system with Sirius satellite radio; compass; outside-temperature indicator; skid plates to protect the transfer case and fuel tank; fog lamps; and all-terrain tires on aluminum wheels. The 2011 Wrangler is due in the second or third quarter of 2010."

I wouldn't put much faith in anything that a dealer is saying at this early stage. Until something is officially released from higher up it is all guesswork.
But, if the dealer is right it sounds like more gimmicks and less real Jeep for the 2011 Wrangler.

Did you look at the youtube.com clip ? That's not a 010 or current wrangler , Look at the lights in front and back ? The above 011 wrangler topic was reposted to allpar.com forum from this good site , so for every one is in the dark on this story ?

This article says the Pentastar will be NEXT summer, not THIS summer. It also talks about interior changes, not exterior.

If this is the case with a new "more aerodynamic exterior" then I guess the 2011 jeeps are going to look even gayer than the JK's. I mean, the JK's took me some time to get used to, and I still think they look gay besides the ones that are build right.

The front bumper that wraps up into the front fender is because of the pedestrian safety laws over there. That's also where the awful plastic bumper comes from.

whats wrong with the JKs? i dont think they look bad at all...in fact if you can't deal with change why did you even buy a TJ? shoulda stuck with a 1940 test jeep. no change and no worries

So if I don't like jks then it means that I hate all jeeps? The four door jks look good but it's more of the two doors that I don't like. Why? I don't know, I just like the normal non slanted grills the best.

Ive grown admittingly bored of the jeep. Something new must come out of the production line or im bound to find what im looking for in other brands and dare i say lower prices?

Jeep is coming out with a cooler looking grand Cherokee and a land cruiser as well.
