It was always like that. Firs we did not love wj, then wk and now we do not like the new one. That will change with time. Also we said that wk is not very capable off-road. Death wrong. It is very capable. It doesn't look as good as the old models but it is doing the job (off-road). So opinion change over time.

Greetings in Vienna, Kreso!

Yeah, it's like a lot of things. And guys who criticize the WK for it's lack of off-road abilities are definitely dead wrong. Here's the Grand progression again, with a highly capable WK:

That Red WK made me forget about a JK in a heartbeat.

I now know what I should be saving for. That is the sickest WK I have ever seen. Do you have the specs on it as far as Lift + Tires go?

I think the new Grand will make a better-looking SRT8 in 2012 anyway:

I'd still go with a JK, lifted, with 37s and a Hemi, but here you go:

Write-Up:

The objective for the team was to take a top-of-the-line 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland and ready it for serious off-road action. To improve traction for rock crawling, a set of 285/70R17 tires were mounted on a set of Wrangler Rubicon wheels and fitted with a Superlift 4-inch suspension system. Off-road protection was provided with an ARB high-clearance front bumper and Mopar heavy-duty rock rails. The already well-appointed Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland interior was prepped for severe duty with the addition of Mopar accessories front and rear slush mats, cargo liner and stainless-steel sill plates.

At least if I'm wrong (I am trying to find more information either way) I am quoting my sources and adding links to those quotes as proof. Please show me your sources so I can stand corrected.

I don't have time to go back and post every link. Some are earlier in this thread, but you can Google it and read away.

The new GC looks kinda like the newer acura TL except on 'roids.

A sick WK though, very nice.

Huh? This is one of the craziest comparisons I've heard yet!

The new rendition of the Grand Cherokee is really growing on me. I hope it is a home run for Jeep when it finally arrives. The SRT design above also looks real mean.

I've got a WJ and a WK, this new one W? (is it WK75, WL, or WD) looks like a throw back to the WJ roundness. I like it, have to wait and see it in person.

Maybe they're trying to appeal to women with the roundness. It resembles those car based crossover SUVs
