I completely agree with previous posts. I was planning on buying a new jeep this year and was hoping for the diesel to come to light or at the very least settle for the penstar.... I really wish Jeep would wake up and build what we've been asking for for decades.
There is SOME information on the 2011 at the dealers but the pricing is incomplete. I'm waiting now for the dealer to spec out the pricing for a Rubicon. I was told that they should have it in a "couple of weeks". They also said the color selections should expand as well. They have been very good so far and I have no reason to doubt what they have said. Just passing this info along.
I got tired of waiting and went down and drove the 3.8 with a 3.73 rear. It wasn't near the dog some folks have made it out to be. The Rubicon has 4.10's so that should be a bit better. I'm not looking to do a lot of mods (been there with my TJ) so I'm thinking a chip, filter, and free flow exhaust should be just fine.
No 4.0 straight six (call me crazy). Too many bells and whistles. I'd really like to see a barebones Wrangler in the sub-$25k with a nice high-output engine.

The 3.8 is way doable. Mind you I have a 2 door, but coming from a 4.6 tj it's got enough pick-up. Way better on gas too. I've heard the chips work wonders to smooth out the fly by wire throttle. I am curious to see some pics of these interior tweaks.
