I liked the commercial a lot. I'm pretty sure the new Gran Cherokee is still built at the Jefferson North plant, in Detriot IIRC. I hope the boys up top did this one right. All Chrysler needs right now is a good vehicle to start them off after the bankruptcy. If the new Grand Cherokee goes well, with the new Pentastar engine, then Ma Mopar can start getting back on course, I can only hope though.

You are correct. It is being built at the Jefferson Avenue plant. For all of the latest news and updates since '08, including the commercial and reviews on the 2011 Grand, I've gotcha covered over here:

I'd rather see a Pickup truck myself . . . but the SUV looks good . . .

Great commercial.....until the end.... Yet another Grand Cherokee that looks like any other family car. A fancy updated caravan. Bring back the real Cherokee. Patriot is another station wagon. Too many Jeeps that can only drive on pavement. Not every road where I live has pavement. Soon I will not be able to purchase another Wrangler capable of daily driving in the true Jeep country where I live. I will have to hang on with what I have now.

Great commercial that made me get chills. If ChryCo will live up to this they will be fine, just fine. I thought of my Colt Python and my WJ sitting in the driveway at the mention of "Colt revolvers, Jeep four-by fours..."

New Video from Jeep

This explains the air suspension a bit better:
