2010 Wrangler Mountain Edition

Jeep Wrangler Mountain (Second Quarter 2010)

Further expanding the iconic Wrangler brand’s reach, Jeep delivers another high-impact, limited-edition model with the Jeep Wrangler Mountain edition.

The Jeep Wrangler Mountain edition is based on the Wrangler Sport S package, and is available on Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited 4x4 models.

Exterior features include a unique “Mountain” decal on the hood with latitude and longitude coordinates that represent an actual location relating to the “Mountain” theme of the vehicle; painted high-gloss Mineral Gray 17-inch Moab wheels, grille and bumper appliqués; tubular side steps; 32-inch tires; black tail lamp guards; and a fuel-filler door from Mopar.

Available exterior colors include Rescue Green Metallic Clear Coat, Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Coat and Deep Water Blue Pearl Coat.

Interior features include an embossed seat insert with embroidered “Mountain logo,” and anodized graphite heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) rings.

The Jeep Wrangler Mountain option package will be available at a U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price of $1,820.

Its a green swiss knife!

ok ok ok i get it, Its made for a purpose. to be in the mountains and be like the wild mountain goat. Rugged and strong. But cmon' Can we not break the rules and take the risk for crying out loud! wouldnt it be nice to be in the mountains if you have to by day and be decent for disco tech by night without even hitting the car wash.

FYI, 27S X 68W is in the Argentinian Andes at 16000 ft. elevation. I guess that qualifies. But why South America? Isn't Jeep a (North) American brand? How about using the Lat/Lon of an American peak?

Seems a bit much for what looks to be just an appearance package... with slightly larger tires?

Seems like a good fit for the niche between the Rubicon and Sport packages. I like the grill color and wheels, but not to sure about the coordinates embroidered on the seats.

Interesting that the photo shows them on the old style BFgoodrich M/T's... Wonder if jeep has a stockpile of those left to put on them and the rubicon models....

Is this a Rubicon variant or Sport? Looks just like a trim package. Not impressed.

This may have changed but when i was looking for tires a couple of months ago. you could still order Km1's in 255/75 17's straight from BFG.

AGREED. I just saw one at a dealership in Utica NY. Again nice on the outside, could get bored with it but it is much better than the Islander. Why did they bring that back.
We want what is inside and a I-6 engine would be nice.
