Yeah actually I'd say 97% of the roads I drive on are well lit also. However, I have a couple friends that live in BFE, those are the roads I bought these lights for.
I've also got some wal-mart fog lights I'm going to install when I put on my tow hooks and trim my front bumper. I'm hoping that with the new headlights and the fog lights on, I'll be able to see those damn kamakazi deer far enough away that I can avoid them.

Well, I finally got a chance to take a pic of the pattern my new headlights are putting out. I still need to adjust the them a bit, as you can see, but you'll atleast get a better picture of how much better these are than stock lights.

Low beam: (I suck with cameras)

High Beam:

I also got these in today:

So hopefully either this weekend or next weekend, I can do my; Bumper trim and paint/ Tow hook install/ Fog light install project.

Here's the link. I know the price seems a bit on the high side, but they have free shipping; and after comparing everyone else's prices+shipping these guys had them the cheapest.

They are the CSO34RB (supposed light load) springs. They actually don't have a lower spring rate then the CSO34RAs, but they have 1/2" less arch.

So technically, if you load the (A)s down with more wieght you should keep your lift because of the extra arch. I believe both spring packs come in around 148lbs. spring rate, which is pretty close to stock.

If you have any questions at all about OME stuff, don't hesitate to contact Dirk at DPG. He is great to deal with, that's where I got my springs from. He's got great prices too.

I bet. I've heard great things about those lights. Eh, I'll run my wal-mart specials, they'll do for now.

JCWladen- I just read up on your build page. What size spacers did you get?
If you got 1.75" then I'd say go with the same springs I got. If you got true 2" spacers then it really could go either way. Both Steamer 98 and I run 2" spacers but, I have the (B)s and IIRC he went with the (A)s.

Also, with no real additional wieght on the rear end of my jeep, my springs are still netting around 2.25". I suspect that after I put in my tow hitch and my rock rails that should bring my hieght down to an even 2" in the rear.

Well I got home from work today and I found this sitting on my doorstep.

The only thing is it didn't come with the "check block" to check the gap in the locker once it's installed. So, I'll need to get one of those. I also figure I should get new springs before I install it.

Anybody know a good source for replacement parts? I mean besides directly from Richmond Gear. Not that I'd mind dealing with them, but sometimes vendors have much cheaper prices then the factory.

nice work, $90 for a locker is pretty dang good...I'd think you'd be able to order parts through the company's dealer

Yeah, I figure that's what I'm going to do. I was just seeing if anyone had an online source for powertrax parts, that they like dealing with.
Basically, I was being lazy.

quadratec.com has a pretty good selection for replacement parts.

Re-doing Quick discos.

Well, when I did my lift I was trying to save every penny I could. When doing this I scrimped in an area that I probably shouldn't have. I think the picture speaks for itself.

That's some pretty bad fail, right there. Not to mention it clunked real, real bad. So, onto fixing that.

First I set it up, in a very precise jig , then proceded to drill and cut.

Then I cut, drilled, and painted, some 3/4" steal tube. As luck would have it, the steal tube had exactly the same inside diameter (5/8") as the outside diameter of my original endlinks.

After cleaning up some minor fitment issues, cleaning up some old rust, and giving everything a frech coat of paint, it was time to assemble everything under the Jeep.

Much better. Not only does that look better, but there is now no more clunking; and my anti-way bar actually fights the sway of the jeep. It handles 100x better. Over all I am very pleased.

Also, please excuse those non-locking pins that are in the picture. I replaced them with locking ones, but didn't feel like crawling back under the jeep to get a picture. You'll just have to use your imagination.
