XJ and TJ compatibility?

I currently own a 98 TJ, I'm in the process of buying a 2001 XJ. The engine is the same, so I assume, most engine items are the same. Are there other parts that are interchangeable between the two? Are Wheels? Etc.?

Thank you for your input.

Front D30 from the TJ will bolt right up. Both will be LP by the way. You could bolt up a HP D30 from a 99 or older XJ to your TJ or the new XJ. The TJ may have clearence issues with front driveshaft if it's not lifted.

Pretty much the extact same engine with the XJ having a extra sensor or two (like the aux fan one).

Is the front driveline the same between the two?

I saw you said that there might be clearance issues using a XJ d30 in a tj.

My buddy needs a new front shaft for his tj with a budget boost and i wonder if an xj one will do the trick.
