Year: 1990 Cherokee Limited, 4.0 litre I6, AW4, 242TC.
Lift height: RE 3½ inch superflex. Actual 5" front, 5.25" rear Shocks: OME Nitrocharger Tire size: My old winter tires, 235/75 R15 - upgrading to 31 x 10.50 x 15" as soon as I get money. Wheel Size & backspacing: 15" American Racing AR767, 4" BS. Steering: ORO U- turn kit (it feels GREAT!), OME steering damper waiting on the garage floor. Brakes: Bendix ABS removed, replaced with factory serviced non- ABS parts. All new hardlines, ZJ front hoses, RE steel hose in rear. Front air dam removed + some trimming on flares, rear quarter panels and rear bumper trimmed a little. Front bumpstopped 2", rear swaybar removed, factory bumpstops. Not rubbing anywhere. I've got a PTO; it's a power output module, a little thingy right after TC which also eliminates slip yoke. No CV driveshaft for the rear, seems to be working fine. Rear- end feels quite stiff right now (not even flexing that much), but I suppose it softens once I get more miles. My rig is still far from being "ready" (they never are.. ), I'll continue with the upgrades early August when I got time and money.Sorry no before- pics, just a poser shot: ![]()

Ok, updated with new tires on friday. Fedima Scirocco's, 31" x 10.50" x 15". They are actually very close to 32" in dia., had to do some trimming on front flares/ fenders to make them fit. Now not rubbing (front is ~2" bumpstopped)
Went wheeling today, absolutely great tires. They grip unbeliavably well, I didn't get myself stuck once - everyone else did ![]()

It flexes really well, and has proved itself surprisingly capable so far. I'm pleased as punch! ![]() ![]() Poser pic: I need to remember to bring the camera when I go wheeling! Well, this isn't quite a 'wheeling pic' since it was from the trail between obstacles, but it does show the lift fairly well.
this is 3" of lift from aftermarket springs and 33" tires. I'm planning on adding spacers/shackles to a total of 4.5 inches, but I went out before I was finished because I Just Couldn't Wait ANY Longer. In this pic, I'm down hill and compressing the front a bit, but you can see that the 33's Just Barely fit with only 3". And yes, those ARE 33" tires on the stock rims. BFG makes the AT-KO's in 33x9.5, if you are willing to special order them.
