Engine, transmission, year model?

There can be a number of reasons for that kind of behavior, but it depends on the drivetrain what all can cause it.
It's always worth checking the fault codes if it's '91 or newer.

Did it go more than 35 mph before the work?
What kind of work was done on the engine?

I'm not sure it sat on the side of a house for 13 years without moving so I have no idea what kind of work was done to the engine I haven't ever driven it yet this was the first ever test drive

The only work I've done to the engine has been an oil change, plugs, wires, cap and rotor it also has a new brake booster/master cylinder new power steering pump all new brake stuff in the rear, could it be a vacuum leak? And if so what's the most common? I'm just at a stand still I'm thinking of buying a new tps tonight for it and see what happens
