XJ Heaven. .........(Scroungers look here)

All good XJs die. Though an XJ owner believes that they will run forever, just like people, there is an expiration date on every one of them. Some die meaningless, violent deaths, while others succumb to the slow, progressive death of cancer. Some blessed few simply die of old age, where every single component wears out evenly and completely, and are put out to pasture to die in peace. No matter the cause of death, they continue to give other XJ's life and inspiratrion in thier time of passing. XJ's serve us honorably and dutifully, and are selfless in thier devotion to thier owners. Every XJ has a signed organ donor card hidden somewhere in it. Here is where they go to rust in piece....

Oh wow, where is this place located???? I remember seeing the pics of the parts jeep you got, and it had a Jersey plate on it. Is it close to (or in) NJ? I'd like to find a rust-free passenger door for my '01 XJ, and maybe score a set of ZJ rear discs. Please shoot me a PM if you don't wanna publicly reveal your source.

Its a secret. I am not allowed to tell.

At least not until I scrounge all of the D44s, overhead consoles, skid plates, lift kits and sound bars for myself.

(Joking)

It's www.collistruckpartsonline.com and it's in Northeast PA.

NOTE!.....All of the D44's are GONE!.....and the guy gets pissed if you ask. (gets three calls a day for them.) HOWEVER! ......Consoles, speaker bars, skid plates, recovery hooks and all the other cool rare stuff is there. And explorer 8.8's are a dime a dozen.

Guy is not cheap, but very reasonable with parts and pricing. Anyone near me, Id be glad to check 'em out for ya.

Anyway...I am sure I broke some forum rule here, si Ill go hide under a rock until the moderators decide what to do with me.........

Apparently, yopu get a V6 in the mid-80s (231?) but from what I am told, they were pigs. Short on power and high on gas consumption. Prone to breakage. ......but there are still a bunch of them with over 200K on the clock, so they could not have been TOO awful..........
