xj headlights need help

so I replaced both headlights in my 99 xj about a year or so ago, I'm driving the other night and switch my high beams on, when I go to turn my high beams off i discover that i have NO low beams anymore, my question is this. is it more likely I blew the low beams in both bulbs simultaneously, or there is a switch I need to replace somewhere. I should also add about a year and a half ago I changed the low beam/highbeam/blinker/hazard switch due to the issue I had with my blinkers not working properly which would leave me to believe its the actual pull headlight parking light switch, ANY advice would be super helpful!!!
