XJ door lock issue

I've got an '00 XJ and am having problems with the door locking mechanism. My doors keeping locking when the car is on and I am driving. It has never done that before, so I figured it was one of those safety mechanisms that engages the locks when put in drive/when the jeep gets over a certain speed. But when I stop, I can unlock the doors, but after a few seconds (never consistent in time), the doors will re-lock themselves while I am still stopped. Is this something that has to do with the master control switch, or something completely unrelated? Thanks in advance, I'm getting sick of hearing my locks going off every few minutes while driving.

Wiring problems in the doors are common. Remove the plastic trim panel and inspect the drivers door wire harness for short circuits, broken wires, and failed splices. If the wires check out, you may need a new master control switch in the drivers door.
