Work in progress - LCA skids
Been working on them, still working on them, still have some work to do. But, it's nearing done.
The goods: 3/8 diamond plate (overkill, but it was free), YJ u-bolts (vacuum disconnect u-bolts turned out to be important), some grade 8 bolts, miscellaneous washers, lots of time and cutting and fitting. ![]() Driver's side mounted up. The vacuum disconnect u-bolt is over the d30 housing. Not ready for a test lift on this side yet because the shock mount hasn't been drilled and tapped for the rear support. Passenger's side mounted up. Test lift is good, no bending in the skid at all even with the weight of the vehicle. The jack was also lifting at the least supported point of the skid. The cutout section is intentional due to the trackbar's mount and bolt.

Looks pretty good.
The aftermarket design is pretty easy to copy. I might even do those if I can get some time and if the Tomken LCA's will allow room to mount.
