WJ leather seats in XJ

Anybody think a WJ rear seat or front leather seats will fit in a xj? The leather WJ ones are more comfortable thats why I'm asking. Also, are the newer WJ's have rear flip down seats?

The front WJ seats should swap in, and I think you are suppposed to drill and extra hole or two in the back for the backseats to go in

what if there heated seats? Can you just splice the wires into the old switches if the cherokee had leather seats too?

And can you still use the power motors or will they be manual after you do this?

With a little ingenuity I dont see why not, but I bet it'll be a little more complicated than soldering afew wires...

Make sure you do a write up if you do go for it, wj seats are on my to-do list as well, I just wasnt planning on power/heated. Good luck

WJ seats do fit and you can keep the power. The heat does work but its on or off so you may want to use a relay setup and only allow the heat to be on when the key is on.

Here is my thread.
